Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at INNISFAIL HOTEL.
Job Summary:The Hotel Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
- Recruit and hire staff
- Supervise staff and conduct performance reviews
- Negotiate with suppliers for materials and supplies
- Conduct training sessions and enforce policies and procedures
- Address customer complaints and concerns
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Develop and implement business plans and marketing strategies
- Manage events and organize inventory
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Basic security clearance
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
The Hotel Operations Manager will work in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment with a staff accommodation available. The work setting is in a rural area, with a hotel, motel, and resort.
Benefits:The successful candidate will have a budgetary responsibility of $500,001 - $1,500,000 and will work 30 to 32 hours per week. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English.
