About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at A & B Mini Mart Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Merchandise and Inventory: Weigh produce and bulk foods, wrap or place merchandise in bags, and maintain a visually appealing store display.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, communicate effectively with customers and staff, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
