Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide memorable and personalized customer service through needs analysis and product recommendations.
  • Offer customers promotional products and services, and resolve customer service issues as needed.
  • Maintain store appearance and adhere to visual merchandising, housekeeping, and maintenance standards.
  • Efficiently and accurately conduct customer transactions, receiving, cycle counts, and product returns on our POS and handheld systems.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively using the English language.
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Working Conditions:

This position requires heavy lifting (40 lbs.), long standing periods, climbing, lifting, bending, nights or weekend work, and holiday work. The Paradies Shops reserves the right to change the position description and to assign additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
