Job Summary:

Martinrea International Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems, including PLC controls and CNC machinery.
  • Wiring and Installation: Plan, layout, install, and repair complex wiring circuits and distribution systems to applicable codes.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete routine paperwork and communicate effectively with team members and management.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Electrical certificate and minimum 5 years of related work experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of blue print reading and interpretation, good mathematical and mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in PLC programming.
  • Physical Demands: Physically capable of heavy lifting, able to work at heights, and willing to work overtime as required.
Work Environment:

This role will be based on the plant floor, requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to company policies and procedures.
