Position Overview

The role of the Electrical Maintenance Technician involves ensuring the optimal performance of various electrical and mechanical systems within the organization. This position is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to less than 5 years in a related field.
Work Environment
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Testing and servicing of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests and monitor the electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electromechanical devices.
  • Utilize machining tools for the fabrication or reconditioning of parts.
  • Replace or refurbish shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components as necessary.
  • Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils.
  • Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
  • Execute on-site servicing and repairs.
  • Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear.
  • Ensure proper performance of repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus through testing.
