Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist with RT Medical, you will be responsible for providing clinical professional practice, assessing patients' physical, psychological, and functional status, and developing individualized treatment plans to improve or restore functional independence.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address patients' needs.
  • Provide OT services, including adaptive equipment recommendations and environmental modifications to maximize patient function.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve treatment goals.
  • Participate in planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Registration and good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists is an asset.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in occupational therapy.
