Key Responsibilities:- Perform assessments to identify educational and training needs within the community.
- Establish collaborations with local organizations, industry partners, and governmental bodies.
- Support the recruitment of instructors and the scheduling of educational courses.
- Promote courses and programs through multiple advertising platforms.
- Determine program and course needs based on community interest and demand.
- Prepare proposals, formulate budgets, and manage financial documentation.
- Ensure the availability of all essential resources for educational programs.
- Contribute to marketing and promotional strategies for the department.
- A minimum of two years of post-secondary education in Business or Education.
- Provincial Instructor's Diploma is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in project management and coordination.
- Understanding of marketing and financial principles.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
- Possession of a valid BC Class 5 Driver's License.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and capable of working effectively within a diverse community setting. This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours, as well as travel between various locations as necessary.
