Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to provide remedial assistance to students as a Homework Help teacher in our GELA Continuing Education program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students in need of academic assistance
  • Deliver credits to students as required
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective implementation of the Homework Help program
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
Requirements
  • Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification
  • Qualification to teach in the Intermediate and/or Senior divisions in accordance with Ministry of Education regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will be compensated at a rate of $49.25 per hour, plus vacation pay.
