Job Description

We are seeking a Scale Clerk to join our team at our Granby site. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring receipts and shipments of materials through the entry and exit of trucks/trailers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers
  • Weighing materials
  • Issuing weighing tickets
  • Responding to customers
  • Preparing shipping papers
  • Tracking material shipments
  • Performing reports

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience in the transportation field (an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Excel

Skills

  • Rigor
  • Good communication
  • Excellent customer service
  • Good knowledge of software and computer systems
  • Good mental arithmetic skills

Work Schedule

  • Work from Tuesday to Saturday
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
  • Full-time, permanent position with 100% job security guaranteed
