Job Title: Financial Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Officer to join our team at KING\u0027S RIDGE MONTESSORI. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensure accurate payment of employees, and maintain payroll records.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a financial role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
