Business Data Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join the pioneering team at RideCo, a leading player in the transportation technology industry. As a Business Data Analyst, you will be part of a robust and rapidly growing client success team, shaping the transformation of public transit from static, scheduled fixed-routes to a dynamic on-demand network.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Management: Plan and launch client projects, support communication and coordination between project stakeholders, and foster strong relationships with clients.
- Transportation Services Implementation: Work with project managers, solutions engineers, and client stakeholders to develop and implement transportation solutions that meet client needs.
- Data Analysis and Performance Reporting: Perform ad-hoc data analysis tasks, evaluate trends, and proactively identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with data engineers to design performance analysis reports.
- Simulation and Optimization: Perform simulations to analyze performance and operational KPIs, and iterate on the service model by tuning and optimizing parameters.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical systems and analytics support to operations managers, and advise them on using the system's dashboards and interpreting data.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaboratively develop actions to drive continuous improvements and achieve service objectives.
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Management Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
- Experience: 1-5 years of experience in data analysis and project management.
- Skills: Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google tools. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau is an asset.
- Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience preparing reports and presentations for senior management.
- Teamwork: Constant collaboration within the technical services team and cross-functionally with product team, data engineering, sales, and marketing team.
- Base Salary: $70K - $90K + performance-based bonus + stock options.
