Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team at Torus Talent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex instrumentation and control systems for heavy industry clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and engineer instrumentation and control systems for heavy industry applications
  • Develop and implement control system architectures using Rockwell ControlLogix and DeltaV
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Participate in commissioning and pre-commissioning activities, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive instrument documentation and technical specifications
  • Provide construction support, supervision, and project leadership as needed
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls
  • Commissioning and pre-commissioning leadership experience
  • Heavy industry engineering experience required (O&G, pulp/paper, or other industrial processes)
  • Proficiency in PLC and DCS programming and graphics development
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations
