About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned Unit Claims Manager, Accident Benefits to join our growing team at Intact Financial Corporation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a senior AB Ontario adjusting team handling non-catastrophic files
- Support specialized file handling of facility files
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve key business goals
- Provide effective leadership, motivate staff, and deliver performance feedback
- Coach team members on technical and professional skills
- Develop and recommend management initiatives to support company strategies
- Act as a consultative advisor on claims matters
- Liaise with claims experts and vendors
Requirements:
- Prior leadership or at least 3 years experience in claims handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in coaching and developing staff
- Strong organization, analytical, and time management skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- University degree or relevant training and experience
