What is the opportunity?

Royal Bank of Canada is in search of a Client Relations Associate to become a vital part of a well-regarded advisory group. In this role, you will contribute to the expansion of our services by delivering outstanding and efficient support, managing administrative responsibilities related to client portfolios, and addressing client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle professional communication via phone and email from clients, advisors, and various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist Investment Advisors with general administrative tasks related to client account management.
  • Support the preparation of client reviews and presentations for Investment Advisors.
  • Gather necessary information and documentation from clients to facilitate account openings and maintain updated client records.
  • Help in the creation of mailings, including seminars, newsletters, and informational packages.
  • Organize meetings for Investment Advisors and manage the printing and distribution of reports.
  • Track all pending transfers to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential, as interactions will involve both English and French-speaking clients and partners across Canada.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong time management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver exemplary client service, characterized by professionalism, warmth, and friendliness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with RBC Dominion Securities' systems and processes is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the securities sector.
  • A proactive, dedicated, and entrepreneurial mindset.
