Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Porter to join our team at Aera. As a Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth setup, execution, and teardown of events and services at our venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and Execution: Prepare and set up the venue according to the event plan and guest requests, ensuring that every detail is met.
  • Teardown and Maintenance: Ensure the venue is 100% set for the next event, and maintain the organization and upkeep of the restaurant during business and non-business hours.
  • Team Collaboration: Work together with the front-of-house team to ensure overall venue success, including helping with server duties and vice versa.
  • Logistics and Safety: Comply with and act in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, and receive and sign off on materials and shipments from clients and couriers.
Requirements
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a variable workload, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate completion of assigned work.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts.
