About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Petro Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Site Inspections: Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Service Recommendations: Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assisting Cleaners: Assist cleaners in performing duties as needed.
  • Coordinating with Other Departments: Co-ordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules for cleaning and maintenance staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in cleaning and maintenance operations.

  • Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
