Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Summary

Petro Canada is seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance services.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
