We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Centre. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and conference centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel and conference centre remain in good working order.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and address any potential issues or hazards.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Work Term: Permanent
