About the Role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice-President, Financial Services to join our Finance business unit on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction to our accounting teams, ensuring they have the necessary processes, knowledge, and direction to support the long-term vision of our Co-operative Retailing System (CRS).
  • Lead the accounting teams to successfully execute and achieve the department's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the annual audit process, including liaising with external audit partners to discuss planning, execution, and key issues for the FCL and IT audits.
  • Lead the Retail Accounting team in their delivery of monthly and annual financial statements for 80 local Co-ops, be a key contact for each Co-op, and work closely with other key stakeholders across the organization throughout the process.
  • Lead the CRC Accounting team through their deliverables, including monthly operating and financial reporting, capital reporting, participation in Refinery Leadership meetings, and reviewing key compliance reporting.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in financial management and leadership.
  • Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
