We are currently in search of a full-time HR Generalist to become a vital part of our team. This role, based in our Calgary office, demands exceptional communication and organizational abilities, a solid grasp of Canadian labor regulations, and proficiency in various HR functions. The successful candidate will thrive in recruitment, employee relations, and training and development, demonstrating the capacity to work efficiently under pressure and with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing recruitment processes, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Creating and implementing training programs and workshops.
  • Managing performance evaluations and career advancement initiatives.
  • Ensuring adherence to labor laws and internal policies.
  • Administering employee benefits and compensation packages.
  • Supporting strategic HR initiatives and training projects.

Required Skills:

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organization: Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Labor Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of Canadian labor laws and regulations.
  • Training Skills: Ability to design and deliver impactful training sessions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong conflict resolution and decision-making capabilities.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing HR documentation and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in HR, with a focus on training and development.
  • Certification: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Recruitment and Employee Relations: Essential experience in these areas.
