Accounts Payable Specialist

At Your Door Services Ltd is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to enhance our financial team. If you possess a solid foundation in financial documentation and accounting practices, this role could be an excellent fit for you. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your primary duties will involve various activities to assist our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue payments for employee compensation
  • Assess and record fixed assets along with their depreciation
  • Oversee general ledgers and financial reports
  • Record journal entries accurately
  • File tax documentation
  • Perform account reconciliations
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university diploma in accounting
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a comparable position
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Word, QuickBooks, and spreadsheet applications
