Position Overview

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with account managers to nurture and sustain business relationships with clients and members through various sales support initiatives. The key responsibilities include:

  • Finalizing documentation post-meetings with clients and members, which involves obtaining necessary signatures, addressing operational inquiries, facilitating account openings, and presenting and closing sales of financial products and services.
  • Assisting account managers in prioritizing weekly tasks and organizing follow-up and solicitation efforts.
  • Contacting clients and members as needed to confirm scheduled transactions and making courtesy calls as requested by account managers.
  • Preparing and delivering tailored presentations for clients and members, along with necessary follow-ups.
  • Contributing to business growth by engaging in various solicitation activities.
  • Utilizing connections with clients and members to cultivate robust business relationships, actively listening to their needs to ensure satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities, while maintaining updated records.
  • Ensuring all files are complete and adhere to relevant deadlines and quality standards.
  • Complying with all policies, practices, and standards to conduct transactions and operations securely.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Collegial Studies diploma.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Other combinations of qualifications and experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in French is essential.
  • Ability to prepare financial statements.
  • Familiarity with business financial products and services, including those offered by caisses and Desjardins distribution networks.
  • Capability to input financial data into systems.
  • Understanding of financing and credit management practices for businesses.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations concerning the distribution of financial products and services.
  • Insight into the philosophy and operations of a financial services cooperative.
  • Awareness of procedures related to account openings and the sale of complementary products and services.
  • Familiarity with Desjardins business processes and service standards.
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal savvy, and adaptability to various situations.
