Financial Services Representative

The role of Financial Services Representative at Desjardins involves working closely with account managers to maintain strong business relationships with members and clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting account managers in sales activities, such as meeting with clients to obtain signatures and presenting financial products and services.
- Assisting in prioritizing weekly activities and planning follow-up and solicitation activities.
- Communicating with clients to confirm transactions and making courtesy calls as needed.
- Preparing and delivering presentations to clients and following up as necessary.
- Contributing to business development through various solicitation activities.
- Building strong relationships with clients by listening to their needs and ensuring full satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date files.
As a Financial Services Representative, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth and success of Desjardins. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Attestation of Collegial Studies.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of French is required.
- Ability to create financial statements and enter financial data into systems.
- Knowledge of financing and credit management practices related to businesses.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for regulations on the distribution of financial products and services.
- Understanding of the philosophy and inner workings of a financial services cooperative.
- Knowledge of the procedures associated with opening accounts and selling complementary products and services.
- Knowledge of the Desjardins business processes.
- Knowledge of service standards.
