Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Interim Regional Manager will oversee the achievement of critical performance indicators while providing exemplary safety leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety, leadership, and management of daily operations within the designated region.
- Uphold and enforce all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Facilitate ongoing communication of policies and procedures through regular meetings.
- Coordinate operational and administrative functions to guarantee effective service delivery to all customers.
- Evaluate, manage, and inspire all direct reports, emphasizing planning, organization, preparation, follow-up, and communication.
- Collaborate closely with asset management to identify asset needs for short, medium, and long-term objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations for all team members.
- Oversee the planning of budgets, revenue, and expenditures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or an Associate's Degree with equivalent experience.
- Management experience in construction and within a unionized setting is highly preferred.
- Lean or Six Sigma certifications, or equivalent experience in continuous improvement, are advantageous.
- A strong technical background is essential.
- Proven track record of effective leadership, team development, organizational skills, and change management.
- Action-oriented individual with the ability to blend interpersonal skills with strong technical knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and inventory management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for managing complex customer relationships.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
