Logistics Coordinator

New Minas Running Man Grocery Mart is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer demands.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and logistics performance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews to ensure they meet their job requirements.
- Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook and other relevant software applications.
The Logistics Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The role involves working with a team of staff members, and the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Hours:The Logistics Supervisor will work 35 hours per week.
