Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at New Minas Running Man Grocery Mart. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and ensure seamless execution of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on logistics and supply chain performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Ensure Smooth Operation: Oversee the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Arrange for Maintenance: Coordinate with vendors and contractors to arrange for maintenance and repair work, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
- Resolve Work Problems: Identify and resolve work problems, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Train Workers: Train and develop staff in duties and policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Coordinate, Assign, and Review Work: Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth operation of logistics and supply chain functions.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively.
Computer and Technology KnowledgeYou will be required to have strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesYou will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Weight HandlingYou will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) on a regular basis.
Personal SuitabilityWe are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
ExperienceYou will have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles and practices.
