Logistics Supervisor Job Description

New minas running man grocery mart is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer demands.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators, such as inventory levels, shipping and receiving, and warehouse productivity.
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure a high level of job knowledge and performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to meet business needs and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a warehouse environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
