Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineering Technician to join our team at Grounded Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, participate in field surveys and inspections, and prepare construction specifications and estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in field surveys and inspections to gather data and information.
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates, utilizing technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings, applying mathematical and scientific principles.
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials.
  • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations, leveraging technical expertise and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
