Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineering Technician to join our team at Grounded Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, participate in field surveys and inspections, and prepare construction specifications and estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in field surveys and inspections to gather data and information.
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates, using business software and tools.
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings, collaborating with senior engineers and architects.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations, offering expert advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Work in a fast-paced office environment, with occasional travel to construction sites.
