Job Description

Grounded Engineering is seeking a skilled Structural Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of engineering specifications and drawings, participating in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings
  • Prepare project schedules
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials
  • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Team player
