We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Assistant to join our team at Foundations for the Future Charter Academy. As a Learning Assistant, you will provide instructional support, teacher support, and student support to ensure the success of our students.
Responsibilities- Provide instructional support under the guidance of teachers.
- Track and report student progress.
- Administer diagnostic tests for reporting purposes.
- Prepare instructional materials.
- Mark and record students' work.
- Communicate regularly with classroom teachers on student-related instructional issues.
- Review grade-appropriate curricular material with students as assigned by teachers.
- Provide additional support to students as indicated by teachers.
- Certification from or enrollment in a recognized Teacher Assistant Program is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience and those who demonstrate a supportive and caring manner with children, a commitment to using instructional technologies, and the ability to provide a secure online learning environment.
