Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong and durable bond.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment to achieve precise cuts and alignments.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack and remove excess grout, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

As a Tile Setter, you will work in a fast-paced commercial and residential construction environment. You will be required to lift heavy loads, bend, and crouch to access work areas. You must be able to distinguish between colors and have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
Language:

English or French.Hours:

35 hours per week.
