Job Title: Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at My Dream Home Solutions. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong and durable bond.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment to cut and shape tiles as needed.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a precise and professional finish.
  • Install tile strips and mosaic tiles to create decorative designs and patterns.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and repair any underlying issues.
  • Supervise and train apprentices to ensure they meet our high standards.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and lifting.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
