Body Shop Technician

R. Ferri Automotive is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash vehicles to remove dirt, oil, and debris from painted surfaces.
  • Locate and remove imperfections on panels prior to painting.
  • Apply paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces.
  • Tape the car up to ensure only the intended areas are painted.
  • Smooth unmasked surfaces with sandpaper.
  • Remove masking tape and clean the vehicle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of auto paint prep experience required.
  • Strong communication and interaction skills required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
