Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Controlling functions within the Freud/Diablo operations in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Support and Leadership: Provide essential business support, leadership, and stewardship to sales and management for the division, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in Month End and Year End Closing processes, generate Monthly KPI reports using Bosch standard systems for local entity and group consolidation, and prepare monthly reporting packages.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Support the Controller in Forecasting and Budgeting for the division, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning and analysis.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct Month GL reconciliation and Analysis, monitor and control various Key Performance Indicators, including A/R, Inventories, and Headcount, and provide reporting on customer sales allowances, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify improvement measures and drive their implementation, ensuring continuous process improvement and efficiency.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting: Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting, including exploring new business opportunities and sales promotions, and handle project work and other assigned tasks.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution environment
  • Completion of a Post-Secondary Degree in Business or Accounting & Finance
  • Having a completed CPA Designation is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Experience with AS400, SAP, or any other ERP system
  • Ability to work with a positive attitude and professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive attitude
  • Structured problem-solving approach, delivering high-quality work with demonstrated follow-through
  • Strong analytical skills and broad business acumen
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strict deadlines
  • Self-awareness, future planning ability, and competent in working with minimal supervision
  • Team player who knows when to challenge the group's thinking constructively
  • Focus on customer needs and the capacity to comprehend issues from diverse perspectives
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
