Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Finance team by providing analysis and insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support reconciliation activities, including investigations and cleanup of reconciliation
  • Provide analysis of information from source systems and book of record
  • Collaborate with other members of the financial control team to complete ad hoc requests

Requirements

  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows-based software, with exceptional Excel skills
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Insurance products and insurance accounting
  • Experience with RBC financial systems and analytical tools
  • Working knowledge of analytical and reporting tools such as Tableau
