About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at EGLINTON-BAYVIEW AND JOINTS IN MOTION INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to our physiotherapy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physiotherapists: Provide support to our physiotherapists in the delivery of patient care, including setting up and dismantling equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and preparing and maintaining supplies.
  • Document Patient Progress: Accurately document patient rehabilitation progress, including treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, including preparing and maintaining cleanliness of collection areas.
  • Support Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining patient records and preparing reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate for this position. Relocation costs not covered by employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, team player.
