About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Attendant to join our team at EGLINTON-BAYVIEW AND JOINTS IN MOTION INC. as a key member of our healthcare support team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide support to patients in their rehabilitation journey, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Set up and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and adhering to standardized safety practices.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are readily available for use.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use, adhering to standardized safety practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress, providing accurate and timely updates to healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to relocate for this position, with relocation costs not covered by the employer.
