Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Services Representative to join our team at Prospera Credit Union. As a key member of our Sunwood Advice Centre, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and proactively developing positive relationships with our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and Engage with Customers
- Establish rapport with customers and address their service inquiries and concerns
- Seek opportunities to deepen customer relationships and provide personalized solutions
- Proactively Seek Sales Opportunities
- Identify and recommend appropriate financial products and services to meet customers' needs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and rewarding customer experience
- Handle Member Banking Needs
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, deposits, and other banking services
- Provide back-up support for other team members as needed
- Participate in Sales Meetings and Record Sales Activity
- Attend sales meetings to discuss sales strategies and goals
- Maintain accurate records of sales and service activity on our customer relationship management system
- Support Community Initiatives
- Participate in community events and initiatives to promote Prospera Credit Union's values and mission
Requirements
- Previous Banking or Financial Services Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, credit union, or advisory sales
- Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Skills
- Strong ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Capacity for Learning and Team Orientation
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Strong team orientation and willingness to support colleagues
- Computer Skills and Process Knowledge
- Proficient in computer systems and processes
