Job Summary

Compass / Boussole / Akii-Izhinoogan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to provide clinical and administrative leadership to our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of clinical services and ensuring the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Provide clinical and administrative oversight and guidance to a multi-disciplinary team.
    • Support the development and implementation of evidence-informed clinical practices and monitor treatment outcomes.
    • Facilitate and ensure a multi-disciplinary team process.
  • Community Engagement
    • Represent the agency on relevant community initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners.
  • Staff Management
    • Assume responsibility for the supervision and evaluation of staff.
    • Participate in the screening, interviews, and selection of staff.
  • Operational Management
    • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of services, budgets, and staff.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes for services.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a clinical leadership role and/or direct front-line clinical work.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the children's mental health sector.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Demonstrated knowledge of methods of intervention, assessment, counseling, support, and training to promote community, family, and individual development and well-being.
    • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in staff oversight and performance appraisals.
    • Leadership competencies to inspire, connect, deliver, and transform.
