Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide clinical and administrative leadership, supervision, and direction to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of clinical and administrative services within the assigned area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide clinical and administrative oversight and guidance to a multi-disciplinary team, including clinicians, child and youth workers, and other support staff.
  • Clinical Practice and Quality Assurance: Support the development and implementation of evidence-informed clinical practices and monitor treatment outcomes to ensure high-quality services.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate and ensure a multi-disciplinary team process, promoting effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving among team members.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships: Represent the agency on relevant community initiatives, building and maintaining relationships with community partners, and developing protocols and service agreements to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Staff Development and Performance Management: Develop and implement staff training and development programs, conduct performance appraisals, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality services.
  • Operational Management: Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of services, budgets, and staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Change Management and Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing environments, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands to ensure the smooth operation of services.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, or equivalent.
  • Registration: Current registration to a professional college in Ontario is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a clinical leadership role and/or direct front-line clinical work, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the children's mental health sector.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of methods of intervention, assessment, counseling, support, and training to promote community, family, and individual development and well-being. Strong knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidence-informed practices and quality assurance processes.
  • Leadership Competencies: Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in staff oversight and performance appraisals, with leadership competencies to inspire, connect, deliver, and transform.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both official languages (English and French), with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders.
