Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our food service operations.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • 3-4 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
