Staffing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Officer to join our team at GTA Recruitment Group. As a key member of our staffing team, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements and developing strategies to meet them.
Key Responsibilities- Staffing Planning: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Recruitment: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Candidate Evaluation: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
- Onboarding: Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers, advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- Team Support: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, and recruit and hire staff.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a office environment.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
