Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AVP Internal Audit, Financial and Insurance Risk professional to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will be responsible for assessing and reporting on the efficiency of our financial and insurance risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our financial and insurance risk management strategy.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of financial and insurance risk reviews, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Partner with senior management to identify and mitigate financial and insurance risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including audit committees and risk committees.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring our risk management framework remains effective and compliant.
Requirements
  • Professional audit, risk, accounting, or actuarial qualification or equivalent business experience.
  • Detailed financial, commercial, and insurance risk technical knowledge.
  • Regulatory knowledge and risk identification and measurement skills.
  • Audit integrity and skills in planning, business analysis, risk and control evaluation, testing, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Sustained audit, risk, or financial/actuarial experience preferably in insurance or in audit or consulting firm in the financial services department.
  • Good knowledge of financial/risk/insurance-related topics.
  • Experience in leading sophisticated projects/reviews, leading small-medium teams, and negotiation.
  • Experience in managing senior-level relationships and influencing their behavior.
