About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Security Operative. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our healthcare workers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, with a welcoming presence, to all individuals interacting with our facility.
  • Security Operations: Prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules and regulations, and monitor site visitors and perform ID checks in accordance with site policies and procedures.
  • Emergency Response: Respond professionally to site emergencies, including alarms, medical emergencies, fires, and other urgent matters.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events to management and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports regarding the activities, security violations, and hazardous occurrences on site.
  • Facility Patrol: Regularly patrol the facility to ensure the safety and security of all individuals.
Requirements
  • Security Experience: Prior experience working in security or customer service is required.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual skills are an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Education and Training: Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement: Non Violent Crisis Intervention and Use of Force training.
