Handyman

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team at Hebert's Recycling Inc. as a key member of our facilities maintenance team.

The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, operating industrial vacuum cleaners, and making minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.

• Sweep, mop, and wax floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems
• Perform safety and security checks
• Supervise other workers
• Move heavy furniture and equipment
• Perform other routine maintenance tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
