Fire Protection Engineering Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our fire protection engineering practice, driving innovation and technical excellence in this critical area. As a Director of Fire Protection Engineering, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and technical leadership to our team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance technical capabilities and market presence in fire protection engineering.
• Provide expert guidance on complex fire protection engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous technical improvement, encouraging innovation and excellence in all aspects of fire protection engineering.
• Establish and maintain strong technical relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and industry partners to support business development efforts.
• Monitor technical trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in fire protection engineering.

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Fire Protection Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical fire protection engineering, with a proven track record of successful technical project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Extensive technical expertise in fire modeling, performance-based design, and advanced fire protection engineering methodologies.
• Strong technical leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate technical teams to achieve technical goals and objectives.

The base salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $200,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. The bonus package includes performance bonuses and relocation allowance if necessary.
