Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 9989951 Canada Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth food service experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods according to company standards.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Inventory Management
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work Environment

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in this setting.

Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Will train the successful candidate on the job.
  • Language
    • English or French is the primary language of communication in this role.
