About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Ash Grove Inn. As a Food Service Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet our high standards.
    • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure that our guests have access to a wide range of options.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
    • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
    • Work 40 hours per week in a permanent position.
    • Work in a team environment with a focus on collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Will train on the job.
Language
