Senior Accountant Position at CB Canada

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at CB Canada and take on a variety of financial responsibilities. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing accounts, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Produce monthly financial analysis for management review and strategic planning
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Assist with automation of accounting processes and improve efficiency
  • Participate in department initiatives and contribute to process improvements
  • Contribute to audit coordination and ensure smooth financial operations
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and software
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders
  • Previous experience in public accounting or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis to drive business decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
